What is SoPub?

SoPub is a social media platform to publish research papers and data. Just like you post tweets or FB posts, you can post your research papers and datasets here on SoPub.

Why use SoPub?

SoPub allows researchers to publish their own papers and data and review for each other.

How to use SoPub as an author

Step 1. The users need to register for a SoPub account with real names. The reason to use real names is to give credit to the contributors of the content and hold contributors accountable for their research conclusions.
Step 2. Users publish contents on SoPub for free.

Data sharing

SoPub requires all publishers to share their datasets for empirical research. All reviewers and readers of the paper will have access to the datasets and have the right to use the datasets with proper citation.

Copyright protection

SoPub will perform plagiarism checks and copyright violation checks on all its contents. If SoPub detects contents highly similar to previous publications, which were not cited, a plagiarism hold will be placed on the user’s account until related issues are resolved. Unresolved holds may lead to legal measures taken by the users whose copyrights are violated.
